PTRA was a where you went to see wild lashups of power that you would never see on any of the home roads, as they used power from all Houston railroads. It was also home to switcher hand-me-downs from all the host RRs; the MKT had re-engined Baldwins, Geeps, and a few EMD switchers such as this.
