| Virginia Blue Ridge 0-6-0 #9 sits at the shop in Tye River awaiting its next assignment in 1963. This locomotive was delivered to the US Army in 1942 as #4023 and was sold to VBR in 1958. It later was sold to the New Hope and Ivlyand in 1967. The Virginia Blue Ridge was abandonded in 1980 and portions of the line are now a recreational trail. |
