| The "Wildflower Special" seen westbound heading to Bakersfield from Los Angeles. A very popular excursion that ran one Saturday and Sunday in April to view the wildflower blooms in the desert and the Tehachapis, the above edition had approx 20 cars in tow. With the advent of Amtrak came the doom of the excursions |
