| When I traveled to California, it was to escape the dreadful Michigan winter. I never expected to encounter three feet of snow in Colorado and New Mexico on the way there. Both Amtrak P42DCs on the Southwest Chief have experienced problems relating to the snow, and two BNSF locomotives have been added to the train for the climb over Raton Pass. |
