| Die Lokomotive Typ V270 vereint die Eigenschaften einer Streckenlokomotive mit denen einer Arbeitszuglokomotive. In den Jahren 2004-2007 hat die EBW drei Lokomotiven komplett neu aufarbeiten lassen. Die Lokomotiven sind jeweils mit zwei Deutz-Motoren TBD 620 V12 (jeweils ca. 1.500PS) bzw. zwei MTU-Motoren 12V 4000 R 41 R (jeweils 3750PS) ausgestattet. Die Motoren entsprechen der Abgasstufe UIC II. |
