| A westbound approaches the western end of the paired track at Weso (contraction of Western Pacific-Southern Pacific) where it will peel off to the left and enter the former Western Pacific route to Portola. Given UP's urgency to drop the tunnel floors and lay a second main over Donner, future stack trains like this KG1LT may no longer, as a rule, diverge onto the WP. |
