| NG15 class number 119 (which has been only very recently overhauled) is hauling the famous Apple Express on the narrow gauge line from Port Elizabeth to Avontuur. This locomotive has been built by Henschel in 1938 for the Otavi Railway in the German South West Africa (now Namibia). When the line in Namibia were upgraded to Cape Gauge all the Kalahari locomotives were transferred to Port Elizabeth. |
