| 1988 view from the cab of CP 5734 (SD40-2) heading up the Fraser Canyon with #2 Canadian from Vancouver. CP5697/5873 (SD40-2/SD40-2) is heading towards Vancouver near China Bar with white flags fluttering. 5734 was at the head of the VIA Rail train due to problems with the VIA loco, and I was lucky enough to be offered a ride up front while my family relaxed in comfort behind. |
