| Blanche approaches Porthmadog Harbour station across the Cob with the last train of the day a few minutes before sunset. Blanche was built in 1893 for the Penrhyn Quarry Railway and came to the Ffestiniog in 1963. Originally built as an 0-4-0 she was rebuilt as a 2-4-0 and fitted with a tender, new piston valves and superheated, most of which was undertaken in 1972 |
