Remarks & Notes

The Kansas City, MO to St Paul, MN freight train crosses the Cedar River here at Columbus Junction. Columbus Junction is located about 15 miles west of Muscatine, IA. This train will meet it's counterpart at Letts in about 5 miles. Then it will be on to Nahant where this train will be switched and rebuild for the trip to St Paul.
