MWCR No. 9, "Waumbek" battling a grade that has reached 37%, is above Long Trestle and about to reach the "Homestretch Flats", "flats" being a relative term. You can see why Mt. Washington is also called Pile of Rocks! Be very careful on these upturned sharp boulders or the rescue team will have to save you if you get a broken leg.
