After making a station stop at Farmington, UTA FrontRunner #1 is back up to track speed ascending the short grade to Cherry Hill at Kaysville. The new Legacy Parkway interchange with Interstate 15 dominates the background, 18 miles north of Salt Lake City. Utah's Lagoon amusement park is visible above the many freeway bridges with the arch of the Colossus ride and the wooden (yes, wooden!) roller coaster on hand to keep area kids entertained during the summer months when school is out.
