With blue skies overhead VIA Rail train 17, The Chaleur starts its 19-hour journey west back to Montreal, Quebec and passes the beaches at Douglastown, Quebec on the Gaspe Peninsula. 10-years and six trips later the stunning scenery of this part of eastern Canada keeps bringing friends and myself back, time and time again.
