    AMTK 509 P32BWH and AMTK 113 P42DC lead the Coast Starlight #11 at Albany station during the peak of a 8-day heat wave. At the time of this photo, Salem and Eugene were at or near their record high temperatures for the day of 107 and 106, respectively. Union Pacific put Level 2 heat restrictions in place that restricted this train to 50 MPH.
