| I've been after a shot of a Class 60 (nickname Tugs) on the Theale - Robeston empty oil tanks for some time. It only runs 3 days a week and hasn't been a reliable source of 60's in recent times - there are not many 60's left in active service and with the new GE class 70's due soon their days may be numbered. Also, when it has been a 60 the weather has inevitably been awful. Finally a Tug appeared on a day with good weather. 60 019 is seen exiting the loop at Challow after being held for a westbound HST. The signal gantry makes levelling shots taken here a nightmare, it bends in every direction |
