| Indescribably filthy SY 1017 blackens a bright morning as she comes onto the small depot at Xiamiaozi for servicing. Xiamiaozi is just a couple of miles up the valley from the terminus station in Nanpiao. Usually three or four SYs could be found there by 0900 hours, after their early turns. Whoever is responsible for ensuring telegraph poles are vertical, must have been having an 'off' day! |
