Norfolk Southern train D49D rolls towards a trackside defect detector as it nears Yuton, Southbound early Friday morning August 14, 2009. The two Caterpillar powered Progress Rail PR43C's have a good roll on the train, with a GE locomotive along for the ride as the units continue testing between Normal and East Peoria, Illinois over this former section of Nickle Plate Road.
