Ray Davies, of The Kinks, made a film musical called "Return to Waterloo" following the life of a train commuter. He hired 4VEP 7851 for a couple of weeks, and strange things were seen being filmed at various locations on the Guildford via Effingham route. Here smoke billows out of the train at Effingham Junction. i don`t believe this was used in the finished film.
