| 9/9/2009 government and railroad dignitaries get together to comemmorate a $36M investment for track and equipment (and by extension rail service) improvements in the NBSR service area. The railroad put together this sweet consist to move the VIPs back up the line a ways to observe some trackwork in progress. A big thank-you to engineer Gilles and conductor Chris for giving me the heads-up about this event while chatting with them the day before at McAdam Station, as they waited for clearance to proceed with train 908. |
