| Out in Western Iowa an Arthur turn creeps along at 10 mph on the branch to Ida Grove, IA. This is a branch off the Omaha Sub that runs 23 miles from CTC Ida Jct. to Ida Grove. This branch is ex-Chicago North Western branch that the Chicago Central (CCP) purchased back in 1986. The depot is the old depot from the mainline a couple miles away at Wall Lake. |
