| Known as the 5000 series cars, only four were built before being redesigned into the 6000 series cars. These 5000 series cars were in service on the CTA from 1947 to 1985. Three out of the four cars survive today, one being at the Illinois Railway Museum and the other being at the Monticello Railway Museum. |
