A mechanical scenery modifier (chain saw) would have come in handy as eastbound #100 starts through the S curve between Tunnel 2 and the north end of Plainview siding, on its way down to Denver behind 3110, 5345, 5341, 5370, 3054 and 3088 in March 1982.
