Remarks & Notes

Westbound BNSF mixed freight train framed by the wooden overpass at Home Valley, Washington. The overpass connects state highway 14 with a campground along the Columbia River. Originally built as a one-lane road bridge, the structure is now used only for pedestrian traffic. Its aging timbers contrast sharply with the welded rail of the tracks below.
