| While there is no snow in Anchorage yet, the snow line is creeping very low on the neighboring Chugach Mountains seen just to the east of downtown. However, today it is beautiful as an ARR yard crew goes about their duties pulling one loaded gondola that will be sailing south in just a few days for a date with the Union Pacific in Seattle. This is as close to street running as one can find in the 49th State. |
