| An ARR yard crew goes about their duties pulling one loaded gondola that will be sailing south in just a few days for a date with the Union Pacific in Seattle. This is as close to street running as one can find in the 49th State. While the lower 48 gets bombarded with an early winter, Alaska has been experiencing a magical extended Indian Summer with nary a hint of snow yet here in town. The shadows are growing long, however, and winter isn't far away... |
