| From Swartruggens to Koster, eastbound trains are faced with a climb of 339 metres (1112 feet) over a distance of 37km (23 miles). These two class 34's have a light load of only 11 coaches in tow, as they climb the grade from Mazista siding with Rovos Rail's Train from Victoria Falls to Pretoria.
