| A downhill northbound mixed manifest takes the horseshoe curve atop Salt Creek trestle at Heather. This is the longest trestle on UP's Cascade Sub in Oregon spanning 515 feet. This is also part of one of the longest continuous grades in the U.S. covering 40 miles of 1.7% through the Cascade Mountains. |
