| Now Arriving: Link Light Rail from Downtown Seattle to SeaTac/Airport! reads the celebratory banner that the first revenue train from Seattle is tearing through. Dozens upon dozens of people -- from Sound Transit executives to media members to the Seattle Transit Blog staff to politicians -- crowded the platform to cheer the train's arrival on this thoroughly stereotypical dreary Seattle morning. In addition to the main event at track level, various information booths were set up on the concourse below and the Highline High School jazz band provided festive live music. |
