Remarks & Notes

The head end of 105 eastbound coal cars from Phippsburg (#708) snakes slowly through Byers Canyon, above the infant Colorado River, behind 5362, 5397, 5377, 5399 and 5388 in June 1981. Helping some seventy-odd cars back are another four Tunnel Motors.
