An eastbound Q train approaches Tunnel 2 in the iconic Tehachapi area (we are in Caliente, CA, maybe 20 railroad miles past Tehachapi Loop itself). While railfanning is often a lonely hobby, for this shot I was shoulder to shoulder with a good half a dozen other fans, while also looking at another few scattered buffies off on the hills to the left, as the West Coast Rail Forums Tehachapi Weekend 2007 group had all congregated at the top of Tunnel 2 for this train.
