    Remarks & Notes
Engineering highlight of the old Oregon Trunk was this bridge over the Crooked River near Terrebonne, OR. At 320 feet above the water, it was the highest single span in America when completed in 1911. K64, Minolta X-700, Vivitar 80-200mm f3.9

The Oregon Trunk, the route most well known for the Deschutes Railroad War, still sees BNSF-and at times detouring UP-traffic today. This album covers all images taken along the line between Celilo and Chemult, Oregon.
