| Hall class 4965 Rood Ashton Hall and Castle class 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe noisily approach the tunnel after a maximum volume ascent of Sapperton Bank. An overnight frost made for a great exhaust disply and also firmed the ground up, which made the descent from the road much easier than the mudbath last time I visited this location |
