| A rare (for the ARR) northbound Whittier to Anchorage high-wide special winds its way along the Turnagain Arm in a scene that could very easily be mistaken for June instead of February due to southeastern Alaska's unseasonably mild 2009/2010 winter. The waybill for this shipment read "Reactor Vessel Tanks or Pressurizers, Heating or Power System, or Reactor Vessel Tank Heads." Ultimate destination: the Tesoro refinery in Nikiski, Alaska. |
