      Remarks & Notes
The Rio Grande did not use the K37 2-8-2's on the Silverton Branch on a regular basis, After they sold the line to the Bradshaw interests, the new owners rebuilt #497 and used it on the Silverton, seen here leaving Durango. As the engine was hard on the track, the D&S traded it to the Cumbres & Toltec for derelict K-36 #482 which they overhauled and use it on the Silverton.
