| Blue Water, Blue Engine. What brought the railfans flocking to the banks of the Hudson was not the road power, but rather the blue SD40-2 and its three gray companions being delivered to new owner Pan Am. Having just departed the B&M/D&H Joint Main, the four units are about two miles onto their new home rails for the first time. |
