The MA&N crew for the day pauses for lunch before leaving Boonville with one car for Utica. The feed mill in Boonville, barely visible behind the crossing, has been a rail customer for more than 75 years. The Boonville passenger station is visible to the left of the locomotive; it was once a busy departure point for people traveling to and from the surrounding logging country. This day, the train made a rare trip to Lyons Falls, the north end of the line, with one car for Burrows Paper.
