| Adding to the heavy traffic base on the WC Chicago-Superior main were these ballast trains that ran during track maintenance season. The trains were loaded in northern Minnesota on the DW&P and delivered to the GTW at Chicago. Some days you could see a empty and load pass through Fond du Lac with GTW power. This load is slowing for a crew change at N. Fond du Lac. Power is GTW 5929,5851,5730. |
