    Remarks & Notes
Spotless DMIR 164 works west on the old DSS&A line a few miles out of Trout Lake with 34 cars of mainly logs and pulp. The WC had DMIR SD9's on the property nearly steady during the mid nineties to payback HP hours from WC SD's operating to the mines in northern Minnesota. This was probably the best looking unit of the group, and the late evening sun really lit it up well. The Ex DSS&A with its 25mph speed restriction, 80lbs mainline rail along with a few grades and heavy log movements seemed well suited for SD9's.
