A CN drag freight lead by a battered SD40 heads down the BRC. To the right, we can see what little remains of the CNW Skokie sub. Business must be picking back up for CN to be putting old beaters like this pair back on the mainline.
Coal and steel don't go bad. This album features long, slow, heavy freight trains; drag freights, slop freights, dead freights, etc. Trains with lots of power, and lots of different cargo slogging along behind.
