    Remarks & Notes
As I laid there in the bunk bed within the confinments of a small cabin on the Ponderosa Ranch. The clashes of thunder drowning out the sounds of the engines working the parade of trains over the hill. The flashes of lightning would cast shadows to temporarily allow my mind to wonder from thinking what will tomorrow bring. I would eventually drift off to sleep to be awoken by the alarm clock. Now ready to venture out and mozzy on down to the main house for breakfast, It appeared as if rain was the card I had been dealt. All through breakfast it drizzled, but I was determined not to be detoured. I came here to see what I had heard so much of. Now down at the tracks, I begin to climb up to the top of a hill I would try. With the sounds of engines echoing thru the valley I begin to hurry along. Half way up, the skies break and the rays of morning sunlight now light the hill. As 5921 closes in onto the lower horseshoe, the sounds of run 8 are a more welcome thunderous sound than that of thunder itself.
