| San Francisco Municipal Railway Boeing Vertol LRV 1211 represents one of Boeing's ill-fated attempt to build Light Rail Vehicles in the 1970s. The Muni and Boston's MBTA both bought them, but these cars were plagued with problems and by 2002 all had been retired on the Muni. Boeing gave up on the light rail market, ceding it to primarily foreign builders. |
