| Boom CountyWhile much of rural Georgia faces high unemployment rates from the lack of local industries, Washington county has always been an exception. The vast Kaolin deposits have long pumped money into the local economy and a strong forestry industry doesn't help either. The Sandersville Railroad through efficient operation and management has taken advantage of these resources and become the most profitable shortline in the state. |
