Like EMU 88, SMU 206 (leading SMU 224) has been stipped of decals and maroon stripe during overhaul and re-engineering in preparation for a new QR logo on July 1, 2010. In this photo, the train makes a station stop at Northgate, the junction for the Caboolture and Shoncliffe lines, with CityTrain #1A45. The speed board infront of the train indicates 40km/h (25mph) through the points to Shorncliffe (the branch line).
