| Circulated today among Porretta and Pistoia, in one of his rare appearances this unusual rolling stock, it is a ETR.232 (Fast Electric Train) was the ancestor of the Italian high speed trains in the early 40s, could travel at 124 mph - 200 km/h in a time when almost all trains were still steam. In those years was cause for national pride, this trainset is preserved at the locomotive depot of Pistoia. |
