| Lots of changes are taking place as a result of the project to widen Rt. 28. The big permanent change in this area is CP-Herr is no more. The now bare signal bridges stand as a reminder to what once was. It has been replaced by signal 75 which is just a few hundred feet east of the 31st Street bridge. Another big, but temporary change is that Main 1 has been removed from the east end of old CP-Herr to Signal 75 to make room for the installation of a new pier for the 31st Street bridge leaving Main 2 as the only way through. |
