Remarks & Notes

Westbound Marquette, IA, to Mason City, IA, freight train climbs the grade out of the Mississippi River Valley west of Marquette. This 14 mile climb can be tough climb if there is alot of loads for Mason City. Here a chunk of coal is making this train heavy, so these motors are working hard as they past MP 11.
