On a scorching hot day, I set out in search of ICE power on K639, which has been a constant on ethanol trains on CSX to and from the CP lately. Today, an unusual pure lashup of 5 SD40 variants chugs down track 2 towards Chicago with ICE 6415 at the helm as it creeps out of Churchville.
