| This ex-Santa Fe consist lead a southbound grain train a few miles north of Prairie. Hard to believe these SD40's wouldnt lead mainline trains forever like seen in this 1998 photo. A SD45 and a C30-7 trail this repainted SD40. This unit was once ATSF 5031, and was repainted to BNSF in February 1998. |
