Remarks & Notes

Classic N&W wig wags protect the crossing at Seven Mile Ford, VA in the spring of 1962 as train 46, the eastbound “Tennessean” roars through en route to DC and New York City. A sizable consist trails the FP7-F3 duo on the point, including four Pennsy express boxes on the head pin that seemed to be on virtually every passenger train via Bristol.
