| Part of the SEPTA R8 line, this former Reading line served Newtown commuters with a link to Philadelphia, PA from 1878 (w/steam) through 1983 (w/RDC's). Walking the line from Fox Chase to Newtown, all I could think about was the ride I missed out on - perhaps the most beautiful commuter line ever - may it once again see service. |
